The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of A.S. Udinese booed when Unicorns ™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mugur Siniştean didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Unicorns ™ getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Dorin Plăcintă hit a great ball. In the 5th minute, Junior Maldini reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Isac Drâmba. The goal made the score 1-0. If Ferruccio Negrini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isac Drâmba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Dossena in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Dorin Plăcintă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emilio Dossena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isac Drâmba having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tudor Bodea in the 27th minute of play forced A.S. Udinese's goalkeeper Gigi Donnarumma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Tudor Bodea sped through A.S. Udinese's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gigi Donnarumma. 33 minutes into the match, Junior Maldini dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Isac Drâmba, 2-1. After having played for 36 minutes, Ferruccio Negrini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.S. Udinese's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferruccio Negrini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 40th minute, Emilio Dossena fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Unicorns ™'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 43rd minute, when Emilio Dossena scored to the left of an out of position Isac Drâmba, making the score, 3-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emilio Dossena made a kick off. After a rather tough play, A.S. Udinese's Emiliano Scannella got a free kick in the 53rd minute. A.S. Udinese made a substitution. Ernesto Delle Donne replaced Junior Maldini. A.S. Udinese's Filippo Di Cesare was substituted for Ferruccio Negrini. 64 minutes into the match, Ernesto Delle Donne had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Isac Drâmba. Unicorns ™'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ernesto Delle Donne was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. After some careless play in the Unicorns ™ defense, Ernesto Delle Donne kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isac Drâmba. The Unicorns ™ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isac Drâmba should have stopped the shot. Ernesto Delle Donne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ernesto Delle Donne struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Isac Drâmba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.S. Udinese. With 83 minutes on the clock, Armin Ruggeri commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 83rd minute of the game. One of A.S. Udinese:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Unicorns ™:s goal. Unicorns ™s' Gigi Donnarumma just managed to throw himself towards the right post in the 85thth minute after Romeo Barbosus penalty, and stop a certain goal. 87 minutes into the match, Emilio Dossena notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of Unicorns ™'s Isac Drâmba. Isac Drâmba was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Unicorns ™'s Isac Drâmba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Dossena in the 90th minute of play. Filippo Di Cesare sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A.S. Udinese were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Unicorns ™ for a fine match.
