Piero Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustaquio Jaizki in the 5th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Atlanta's Fabian Guter got a free kick in the 10th minute. After a rather tough play, Taltum FC's Marquez Doñez got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 15th match minute, Club Atlético Atlanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rosendo Cutberto to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yago Polanco in the 19th minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Carlos Germano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Taltum FC's Piero Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anacleto Admon in the 21st minute of play. Rodas Valdivieso charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodas Valdivieso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Club Atlético Atlanta booed when Taltum FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodas Valdivieso didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Taltum FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Rojelio came free, but Piero Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Taltum FC's Marquez Doñez got a free kick in the 30th minute. Eustaquio Jaizki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Piero Kahn made a huge save. Vito Areta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Germano having to interfere. A collision led to Taltum FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Marquez Doñez hit a great ball. In the 46th minute, Rodas Valdivieso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vito Areta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes Taltum FC got a freekick which was hit by Marquez Doñez. The Club Atlético Atlanta fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when Club Atlético Atlanta's Eustaquio Jaizki looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some careless play in the Taltum FC defense, Anacleto Admon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Piero Kahn. The Taltum FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Piero Kahn should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustaquio Jaizki in the 70th minute of play forced Taltum FC's goalkeeper Piero Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 78 minutes, Marquez Doñez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Taltum FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marquez Doñez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Taltum FC's Piero Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Rojelio in the 88th minute of play. When Fabio Rallo came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Taltum FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabio Rallo couldn't finish the play. Club Atlético Atlanta's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
