Tim Nordlund charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tim Nordlund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 2nd match minute, FC NILS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tim Nordlund to maneuver through the defense. 3 minutes into the match, FC NILS's goal looked a bit too open when Ging Root came free, but Åke Utter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 4 minutes FC NILS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ging Root who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of FC NILS's goalie and right to 余政翀. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. FC NILS's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 9th minute, Giorgian De Arrascaeta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kepa Arrizabalaga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zebastian Palmkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 11 minutes into the match, Arthur Guedes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Åke Utter. FC NILS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arthur Guedes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The audience was convinced that Filip Örtlund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kepa Arrizabalaga was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. 16 minutes into the match, ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s Kaká Favoretto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Åke Utter narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kepa Arrizabalaga was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filip Örtlund in the 29th minute of play forced ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Åke Utter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arthur Guedes in the 32nd minute of play. Åke Utter came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s Arthur Guedes. But to his dismay, Arthur Guedes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Filip Örtlund struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Kepa Arrizabalaga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC NILS. 43 minutes into the match, ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s goal looked a bit too open when Zebastian Palmkvist came free, but Kepa Arrizabalaga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 45 minutes ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zebastian Palmkvist who took care of the corner kick. The FC NILS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Filip Örtlund made a kick off. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Åke Utter stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arthur Guedes's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. After 56 minutes FC NILS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ging Root who took care of the corner kick. In the 57th minute of the match 余政翀 shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Åke Utter showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Arthur Guedes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. FC NILS's Åke Utter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arthur Guedes in the 68th minute of play. In the 71st minute Filip Örtlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kepa Arrizabalaga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Arthur Guedes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net.
