Torgeir Sandbakken hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Ludwig Högman's late challenge caught a Rakkestad IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ludwig Högman helped the player get up and apologised. In the 8th minute Otto Klepp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sabri Letailleur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute, Batiste Botella made a precise shot to the right of Sigve Berre. Rakkestad IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Christophe Beaulieu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Christophe Beaulieu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 20 minutes into the match, Christophe Beaulieu notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Rakkestad IF's Sigve Berre. Sigve Berre was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 25th minute Christophe Beaulieu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sigve Berre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kjell Bergum kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Hamza Rouch hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After 30 played minutes Herblay got a freekick which was hit by Batiste Botella. In the 30th minute Otto Klepp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sabri Letailleur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jim-André Øvsthus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sigve Berre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaltino Gaúcho in the 34th minute of the match. When Otto Klepp fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rakkestad IF's protests and gave Otto Klepp a yellow card for diving instead. 41 minutes into the match, Rakkestad IF's goal looked a bit too open when Batiste Botella came free, but Sigve Berre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Batiste Botella had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sigve Berre. Rakkestad IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Batiste Botella was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Ludwig Högman might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sigve Berre. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ludwig Högman ran back to his position shaking his head. The Rakkestad IF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Herblay were winning 0-3.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Otto Klepp stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 50 minutes into the game, Roy Nymoen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rakkestad IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Herblay the free kick. 51 minutes into the match, Batiste Botella had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sigve Berre. Rakkestad IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Batiste Botella was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Isaltino Gaúcho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christophe Beaulieu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Sigve Berre made a huge save. Isaltino Gaúcho struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Sigve Berre didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Herblay. Sigve Berre stood somewhat misplaced when Christophe Beaulieu came free in front of goal and shot 0-5 to the left of him in the 59 minute. 62 minutes into the match, Rakkestad IF's goalkeeper Sigve Berre had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christophe Beaulieu. After some careless play in the Rakkestad IF defense, Batiste Botella kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sigve Berre. The Rakkestad IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sigve Berre should have stopped the shot. Christophe Beaulieu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Sigve Berre made a huge save. 77 minutes into the game, Batiste Botella cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Sigve Berre was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rakkestad IF's Sigve Berre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tom Colle in the 80th minute of play. Sigve Berre didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Batiste Botella went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-9 was the resulting score. Tom Colle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Sigve Berre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sigve Berre made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Batiste Botella sent off a good shot on target. In the 90th minute Batiste Botella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sigve Berre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isaltino Gaúcho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Herblay's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
