The audience thought a goal was coming when Fredrik Bjurström got free with Ubaldo Matildo Fillol in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ubaldo Matildo Fillol made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Fredrik Bjurström sent off a good shot on target. Ubaldo Matildo Fillol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lennart Abrahamsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute River CBBA were awarded a corner. Firmin Abenda went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Milton Casco almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Team Rocco's Christer Kullander did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Kalfhage in the 19th minute of play forced River CBBA's goalkeeper Ubaldo Matildo Fillol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 35 played minutes Jonas Kalfhage rounded River CBBA's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. In the 38th minute, Team Rocco's Lennart Abrahamsson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. In the 46th minute Lennart Abrahamsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ubaldo Matildo Fillol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tobias Abarca was the one to do the kick off. If Tobias Abarca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The long shot by Min Abenda in the 69th minute really tested Christer Kullander's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Fredrik Bjurström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ubaldo Matildo Fillol having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vilhelm Moberg during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a little luck, Team Rocco's Christer Kullander got control of the ball when Tobias Abarca tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Team Rocco defense, Tobias Abarca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christer Kullander. The Team Rocco fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christer Kullander should have stopped the shot. Team Rocco's Erik Tomasson was substituted for Viggo Mellbad. After a rather tough play, River CBBA's Tadeo Ignado got a free kick in the 85th minute. River CBBA's supporters rose to their feet, but Tobias Abarca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christer Kullander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 95 minutes, Reinaldo Merlo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the River CBBA and the Team Rocco players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, River CBBA's Reinaldo Merlo got a free kick in the 95th minute.
