Amador Iratxo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobias Abarca in the 4th minute of the match. The corner ended in Firmin Abenda almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Gastres FC's Amador Iratxo did a great save. Tobias Abarca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Amador Iratxo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ubaldo Matildo Fillol made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Nicolas Gonza sent off a good shot on target. In the 31st minute, Nicolas Gonza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 31 played minutes River CBBA got a freekick which was hit by Tobias Abarca. In the 33rd minute Tobias Abarca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amador Iratxo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36thth minute of the game Firmin Abenda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gastres FC's Amador Iratxo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nicolas Gonza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ubaldo Matildo Fillol having to interfere. Milton Casco hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. 41 minutes into the match, River CBBA's goalkeeper Ubaldo Matildo Fillol had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicolas Gonza. 47 minutes into the game, one of River CBBA:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 49th minute, the referee gave Gastres FC a penalty. Santiago Rios looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Ubaldo Matildo Fillol. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristo Leocadio to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Rene Houseman managed to get in a good position for a shot. River CBBA's supporters rose to their feet, but Rene Houseman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amador Iratxo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ubaldo Matildo Fillol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristo Leocadio in the 59th minute of play. In the 65th match minute, Gastres FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Kauldi to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Firmin Abenda in the 66th minute really tested Amador Iratxo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. River CBBA's Ubaldo Matildo Fillol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Segundo Bortzaioriz in the 67th minute of play. Ubaldo Matildo Fillol stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aurelio Baladi's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute Rene Houseman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amador Iratxo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. River CBBA's Ubaldo Matildo Fillol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Segundo Bortzaioriz in the 73rd minute of play. Ubaldo Matildo Fillol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Segundo Bortzaioriz, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. 81 minutes into the match, River CBBA's goal looked a bit too open when Segundo Bortzaioriz came free, but Ubaldo Matildo Fillol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 84 minutes into the game, Gastres FC's Nicolas Gonza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ubaldo Matildo Fillol made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. River CBBA made a substitution. Fabián Basualdo replaced Fernanco Abarca. River CBBA made a substitution. Tadeo Ignado replaced Rene Houseman. In the 91st minute Tadeo Ignado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amador Iratxo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Tadeo Ignado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The River CBBA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. River CBBA's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
