Team Rocco's Christer Kullander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Team Rocco from getting a goal against them. Virgilio Txilar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lennart Abrahamsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christer Kullander made an important save on a dangerous shot by Natalio Refugio in the 33rd minute. Virgilio Txilar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fredrik Bjurström in the 34th minute of play. In the 45th match minute, Team Rocco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erik Tomasson to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Henry Bållström's late challenge caught a Gastres FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Virgilio Txilar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Tomasson in the 81st minute of the match. Lennart Abrahamsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 87 minutes of play, Team Rocco's Lennart Abrahamsson made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Virgilio Txilar was left in no man's land by his defense there!
