The referee showed Hermengildo Rufio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 5 played minutes Rivermania FC got a freekick which was hit by Hermengildo Rufio. A collision led to Rivermania FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Uriel Illart hit a great ball. Donato Fliz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cléber da Costa in the 15th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, SORRISO E. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Hermengildo Rufio came free, but Christiano Arce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Donato Fliz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cléber da Costa's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Davi Isac in the 19th minute of play forced Rivermania FC's goalkeeper Donato Fliz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 36th minute Cléber da Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Fliz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christiano Arce was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mauricio Sergi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 38 minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Davi Isac made a precise shot to the right of Donato Fliz. Rivermania FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. After 46 minutes of play, Rivermania FC's Hermengildo Rufio made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christiano Arce was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-5.

After 50 played minutes Rivermania FC got a freekick which was hit by Uriel Illart. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cléber da Costa got free with Donato Fliz in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 53 minutes of play Rivermania FC's Hermengildo Rufio was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 54th match minute, Rivermania FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermengildo Rufio to maneuver through the defense. 58 minutes into the match, SORRISO E. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Mauricio Sergi came free, but Christiano Arce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute of the match SORRISO E. C. got a corner. Rivermania FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. João Vítor da Silveira ran over to the corner to take the kick. SORRISO E. C.'s Arnaud Clément was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Donato Fliz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Davi Isac could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Donato Fliz made a huge save. Donato Fliz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cléber da Costa in the 69th minute of the match. The supporters of SORRISO E. C. booed when Rivermania FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauricio Sergi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Donato Fliz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cléber da Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Uriel Salvidor was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 73 minutes into the match. After 74 played minutes Rivermania FC got a freekick which was hit by Uriel Salvidor. After a defensive mix-up in Rivermania FC's zone, João Vítor da Silveira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donato Fliz came out of the goal and João Vítor da Silveira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 77 played minutes Rivermania FC got a freekick which was hit by Nereo Fresco. João Vítor da Silveira received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Donato Fliz came out and tried to block the shot, but João Vítor da Silveira slotted it home off the left post making it 2-6 in the 78th minute. Donato Fliz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cléber da Costa in the 81st minute of play. Donato Fliz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cléber da Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 84 minutes into the match, Rivermania FC's goalkeeper Donato Fliz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Davi Isac. Donato Fliz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cléber da Costa in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 93rdth minute of the game Cléber da Costa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rivermania FC's Donato Fliz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Rivermania FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. SORRISO E. C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
