Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Teodosio Primeiro started the match with the kick off. After 3 minutes, Baltasar Ondino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rondeau and the Yala players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Rondeau getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Baltasar Ondino hit a great ball. After 6 minutes Rondeau's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Reynaldo Oinaz who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Yala's corner Reynaldo Oinaz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Domingos Mambru quite easily take care of the ball. Domingos Mambru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guaberto Koldobika in the 10th minute of play. In the 18th match minute, Yala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauro Roano to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Omar Montes in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Domingos Mambru saved Rondeau from getting behind. If Guaberto Koldobika had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hipolito Froila hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prospero Enaut in the 36th minute of play forced Yala's goalkeeper Octavio Ferrer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rondeau's Domingos Mambru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Montes in the 39th minute of play. The supporters of Rondeau booed when Yala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hipolito Froila didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Yala were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The wind increased when Omar Montes made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Rondeau getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Candido Arias hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Omar Montes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Domingos Mambru was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Domingos Mambru made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guaberto Koldobika in the 58th minute. Guaberto Koldobika's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Domingos Mambru firmly grabbed it by the left post. 66 minutes into the game, Yala's Omar Montes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Domingos Mambru made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. If Guaberto Koldobika had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Rondeau's zone, Guaberto Koldobika stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domingos Mambru came out of the goal and Guaberto Koldobika tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rondeau's Domingos Mambru proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Rondeau from getting a goal against them. In the 77th minute, Yala's Guaberto Koldobika dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. The audience was convinced that Omar Montes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Domingos Mambru was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Hipolito Froila struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Domingos Mambru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yala. Guaberto Koldobika might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Domingos Mambru. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guaberto Koldobika ran back to his position shaking his head. Yala played a much better game than Rondeau and deserved their victory. The Rondeau players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
