In the 16th minute, Hermengildo Rufio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nereo Fresco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Mambru having to interfere. Mauricio Sergi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Domingos Mambru skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Rondeau's Domingos Mambru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermengildo Rufio in the 30th minute of play. After 33 played minutes Rondeau got a freekick which was hit by Prospero Enaut. Hermengildo Rufio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Mambru having to interfere. Rivermania FC's Nereo Fresco was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 39th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 42nd minute Prospero Enaut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Fliz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Donato Fliz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prospero Enaut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hermengildo Rufio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Mambru having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Hermengildo Rufio hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After 54 minutes, Nereo Fresco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rivermania FC and the Rondeau players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 54th minute, Nereo Fresco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nereo Fresco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Domingos Mambru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Donato Fliz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prospero Enaut in the 65th minute of play. In the 66th minute of the match Rondeau got a corner. Rivermania FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Baltasar Ondino ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Rondeau's Baltasar Ondino to fire away a dangerous shot which Donato Fliz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baltasar Ondino got free with Donato Fliz in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Mauricio Sergi fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rivermania FC's protests and gave Mauricio Sergi a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Rivermania FC's Mauricio Sergi got a free kick in the 87th minute. Rondeau's Baltasar Ondino got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
