In the 23rd match minute, Rembertów DJs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by D.J. Žaba to maneuver through the defense. Tadeo Elorri took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jerzy Dudek. Jerzy Dudek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Theodor Sagen scored 1-2 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mateo Berriotxoa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 37 minutes into the match, Vicente Lehior dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jerzy Dudek, 2-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling D.J. Žaba in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mateo Berriotxoa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Soroca F.C.'s Mateo Berriotxoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zdzislaw Fujara in the 47th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Soroca F.C.'s Mateo Berriotxoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zdzislaw Fujara in the 56th minute of play. Esteban Juvenal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Jerzy Dudek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Rembertów DJs's zone, Atilano Maidana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jerzy Dudek came out of the goal and Atilano Maidana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 70th minute of the match Soroca F.C. got a corner. Rembertów DJs's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ildefonso Lizbeth ran over to the corner to take the kick. 72 minutes into the match, Soroca F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Zdzislaw Fujara came free, but Mateo Berriotxoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 98 minutes, Vicente Lehior mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Soroca F.C. and the Rembertów DJs players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Soroca F.C.'s Vicente Lehior got a free kick in the 98th minute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
