The supporters of ASF BAIA MARE -MM- booed when KFC Paal-Tervant was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roben Bauweleers didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Steve Deckkers got a free kick in the 20th minute. Luka Dams fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Chiriță having to interfere. Reinaud De Schutter made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Remus Vermeşan sent off a good shot on target. Marcel Chiriță took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luckas De Wortelaers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute Remus Vermeşan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reinaud De Schutter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reinaud De Schutter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Remus Vermeşan in the 33rd minute. If Remus Vermeşan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reinaud De Schutter was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Remus Vermeşan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Remus Vermeşan really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristinel Andronescu in the 42nd minute of play forced KFC Paal-Tervant's goalkeeper Reinaud De Schutter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Roben Bauweleers fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KFC Paal-Tervant's protests and gave Roben Bauweleers a yellow card for diving instead. In the 43rd minute, Roben Bauweleers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Reinaud De Schutter made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Remus Vermeşan sent off a good shot on target.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Remus Vermeşan was the one to do the kick off. If Lv Si Hao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reinaud De Schutter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steve Deckkers in the 59th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, KFC Paal-Tervant's Roben Bauweleers got a free kick in the 64th minute. KFC Paal-Tervant's Reinaud De Schutter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steve Deckkers in the 65th minute of play. KFC Paal-Tervant's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roben Bauweleers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
