Waldir Peres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mando Lucifer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Waldir Peres made an important save on a dangerous shot by Che Perón in the 8th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Jailson Batista came free, but Francesco Toldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Barcellos Mineiro FC's Waldir Peres got control of the ball when Che Perón tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 14 played minutes Resurrección Diabólica Ψ got a freekick which was hit by Tiadoro Lucifer. Waldir Peres came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's Che Perón. But to his dismay, Che Perón quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Mando Lucifer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Francesco Toldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jailson Batista in the 26th minute of play. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Waldir Peres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mando Lucifer in the 40th minute of play. Francesco Toldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jailson Batista in the 44th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jailson Batista to make the kick off. After 51 minutes, Jailson Batista mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barcellos Mineiro FC and the Resurrección Diabólica Ψ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 51st minute, Jailson Batista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute, Lei Yun Lei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's Lei Yun Lei got a free kick in the 70th minute. Chu Liang Ping sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's zone, Chu Liang Ping stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francesco Toldo came out of the goal and Chu Liang Ping tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Resurrección Diabólica Ψ getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Che Perón hit a great ball. Waldir Peres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel-Omar Lucifer, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Waldir Peres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Che Perón in the 87th minute of play. With a little luck, Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's Francesco Toldo got control of the ball when Chu Liang Ping tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eustaquio Gil hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Barcellos Mineiro FC defense, Gabriel-Omar Lucifer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Waldir Peres. The Barcellos Mineiro FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Waldir Peres should have stopped the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Resurrección Diabólica Ψ fans cheered their team off the field, for while Barcellos Mineiro FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
