After a rather tough play, Rafaela FC's Zeledon Locaio got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Alvaro Resto came free with the goalkeeper in the 24th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Prospero Calvino could save by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Edgard Lon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rafaela FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgard Lon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Dolcet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florencio Orlanda in the 35th minute of play forced Rafaela FC's goalkeeper Prospero Calvino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Rafaela FC booed when Loco De Remate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benigno Nayely didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgard Lon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Pedro Dolcet made a huge save. After 76 minutes of play, Rafaela FC's Edgard Lon made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Dolcet was left in no man's land by his defense there! Juan Perpinya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Dolcet having to interfere. 84 minutes into the game, Zeledon Locaio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Pedro Dolcet was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Loco De Remate's defense didn't have a chance, in the 91st minute, when Eriberto Navarro scored to the left of an out of position Pedro Dolcet, making the score, 0-4. Pedro Dolcet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvio Esiquio, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Rafaela FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
