Matheus Toscano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 9th minute, Stamen Tekeliev left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Playa Malvín fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 12th minute, Stamen Tekeliev ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Matheus Toscano was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. G.R.'s Matheus Toscano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stamen Tekeliev in the 14th minute of play. Playa Malvín's Stamen Tekeliev got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Matheus Toscano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stamen Tekeliev, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stamen Tekeliev in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matheus Toscano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Matheus Toscano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stamen Tekeliev's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. In the 34th minute, Stamen Tekeliev ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Matheus Toscano was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Zé Roberto Teixeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jamar Vang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matheus Toscano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stamen Tekeliev's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. 42 minutes into the match, G.R.'s goal looked a bit too open when Stamen Tekeliev came free, but Matheus Toscano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stamen Tekeliev was the one to do the kick off. In the 78thth minute of the game Quinto Ampudia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but G.R.'s Matheus Toscano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Quinto Ampudia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Quinto Ampudia got free with Matheus Toscano in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Hipolito Gante managed to get in a good position for a shot. Playa Malvín's supporters rose to their feet, but Hipolito Gante was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Playa Malvín would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
