After a defensive mix-up in Nacional's zone, Denimir Tzonkov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristiano Aveiro came out of the goal and Denimir Tzonkov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ekain Menendez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nacional's Cristiano Aveiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerasim Berberov in the 87th minute of play. The throw-in from Sevdalin Evtimov in the 89th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Nacional's Xu Sha. After 94 played minutes Nacional got a freekick which was hit by José Luis Rodríguez.
