But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerasim Berberov couldn't finish the play. Olle Olsson hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Ruslan Rúklyov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessandro Del Piero in the 8th minute of play. In the 19th minute Denimir Tzonkov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Glenn Fyfe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that James Batistuta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ruslan Rúklyov was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. In the 22nd minute A4p FC Gad were awarded a corner. Marcin Pachucki went to the cornerflag to take it. Ruslan Rúklyov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from James Batistuta, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessandro Del Piero in the 25th minute of play forced VN BAKITO's goalkeeper Ruslan Rúklyov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the game, A4p FC Gad's James Batistuta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Glenn Fyfe came out of the goal and Denimir Tzonkov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Denimir Tzonkov made a kick off. Ruslan Rúklyov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from James Batistuta in the 51st minute of play. 52 minutes into the match, VN BAKITO's goal looked a bit too open when James Batistuta came free, but Ruslan Rúklyov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 54 minutes of play, VN BAKITO's Denimir Tzonkov made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Glenn Fyfe was left in no man's land by his defense there! Denimir Tzonkov hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. A collision led to VN BAKITO getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Denimir Tzonkov hit a great ball. With a little luck, VN BAKITO's Ruslan Rúklyov got control of the ball when Dumitru Purcărete tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Denimir Tzonkov managed to get in a good position for a shot. VN BAKITO's supporters rose to their feet, but Denimir Tzonkov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Glenn Fyfe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Glenn Fyfe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denimir Tzonkov in the 78th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Rusi Plochev managed to get in a good position for a shot. VN BAKITO's supporters rose to their feet, but Rusi Plochev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Glenn Fyfe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 86th minute King Scorpio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruslan Rúklyov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcin Pachucki made a great header on A4p FC Gad's corner, it was just that VN BAKITO's Ruslan Rúklyov managed to reach the ball for a save. Marcin Pachucki hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Blagoy Banovski, 92 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Ruslan Rúklyov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gică Busuioc in the 93rd minute. The VN BAKITO supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching A4p FC Gad's performance. The match ended with a win for A4p FC Gad.
