After 45 minutes of play, VB-Team's Joaquim de Barros made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zé Roberto Teixeira was left in no man's land by his defense there! The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joaquim de Barros to strike the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, VB-Team's goal looked a bit too open when Stamen Tekeliev came free, but Armindo Salgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stamen Tekeliev in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armindo Salgado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gamus Rocha hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Playa Malvín made a substitution. Armindo Salgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quinto Ampudia, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Quinto Ampudia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armindo Salgado having to interfere. VB-Team's Qiu Sheng Bang was substituted for Sandro Leitão. Armindo Salgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quinto Ampudia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Quinto Ampudia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87thth minute of the game Quinto Ampudia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but VB-Team's Armindo Salgado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 88th minute Quinto Ampudia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armindo Salgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quinto Ampudia, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute.
