Nacional's Grabiel Escorcia got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 21 minutes in the game Jony Maidana did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Grabiel Escorcia. Cristiano Aveiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stamen Tekeliev in the 25th minute of play. Cristiano Aveiro came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Playa Malvín's Stamen Tekeliev. But to his dismay, Stamen Tekeliev quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. With a little luck, Playa Malvín's Zé Roberto Teixeira got control of the ball when Grabiel Escorcia tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Nacional booed when Playa Malvín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constantijn De Hond didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marta Minuhin lost his temper 44 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 44th minute, one of Nacional:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Nacional. Cristiano Aveiro had in the 47thth minute some difficulties stopping Stamen Tekeliev's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The excitement rose when Playa Malvín's Stamen Tekeliev after 47 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Nacional's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stamen Tekeliev made a kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Stamen Tekeliev who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nacional's Cristiano Aveiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Playa Malvín booed when Nacional was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xu Sha didn't get a good kick on the ball. 60 minutes into the game, Josu Onez threw the ball into play from the sideline. Nacional's Xu Sha quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Zé Roberto Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grabiel Escorcia in the 61st minute of the match. Playa Malvín's Quinto Ampudia was substituted for Stamen Tekeliev. Jony Maidana made in the 64th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Grabiel Escorcia. Nacional's Cristiano Aveiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quinto Ampudia in the 67th minute of play. Cristiano Aveiro made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Hipolito Gante sent off a good shot on target. Nacional's Cristiano Aveiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Nacional from getting a goal against them. Playa Malvín's Gamus Rocha was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cristiano Aveiro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Quinto Ampudia might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristiano Aveiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Quinto Ampudia ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Quinto Ampudia got free with Cristiano Aveiro in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Quinto Ampudia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Quinto Ampudia in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristiano Aveiro saved Nacional from getting behind. Xu Sha kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. The Playa Malvín players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
