With a little luck, Nacional's Cristiano Aveiro got control of the ball when James Batistuta tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 13th minute Grabiel Escorcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Glenn Fyfe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Glenn Fyfe came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Nacional's Xu Sha. But to his dismay, Xu Sha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Grabiel Escorcia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nacional's Cristiano Aveiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by King Scorpio in the 24th minute of play. Grabiel Escorcia scored 0-2 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Glenn Fyfe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Glenn Fyfe came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Nacional's Grabiel Escorcia. But to his dismay, Grabiel Escorcia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The supporters of Nacional booed when A4p FC Gad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dumitru Purcărete didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute, Damiano Fioravanti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nacional's Cristiano Aveiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by James Batistuta in the 39th minute of play. A4p FC Gad's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marcin Pachucki in the 45th minute. A nice corner shot did that Marcin Pachucki got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cristiano Aveiro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 48 played minutes Nacional got a freekick which was hit by Walter Geromel. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Grabiel Escorcia to strike the kick off in the second half. Walter Geromel hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Cristiano Aveiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcin Pachucki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristiano Aveiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from King Scorpio in the 66th minute of the match. Cristiano Aveiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from King Scorpio in the 96th minute of play. When the match clock showed 96 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Gică Busuioc sped through Nacional's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cristiano Aveiro. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Nacional had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
