Stoke Poges's Wei Xuan Tuan suffered a concussion after 6 minutes and had to leave the field. When Mücahit Bedi fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pülümür JK's protests and gave Mücahit Bedi a yellow card for diving instead. Stoke Poges's Alex Seng got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Khairul Hee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aybek Şavat having to interfere. Servet Hünerli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Sean Keng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erol Hirfet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Khairul Hee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aybek Şavat having to interfere. Sean Keng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Servet Hünerli in the 28th minute of the match. A collision led to Stoke Poges getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Daniz Ching hit a great ball. If Erol Hirfet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Erol Hirfet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pülümür JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Erol Hirfet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sean Keng breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Amirul Chong charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amirul Chong the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 43rd minute, one of Stoke Poges:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Stoke Poges. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Servet Hünerli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Erol Hirfet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 56 minutes into the game, Servet Hünerli recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sean Keng. Servet Hünerli showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Daniz Ching kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Erol Hirfet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Sean Keng made a huge save. Servet Hünerli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erol Hirfet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Servet Hünerli in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sean Keng prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 78th minute, Alex Seng hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 78 minutes into the match, Pülümür JK's Hayrullah Davutoğlu broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The audience was convinced that Servet Hünerli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sean Keng was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. A collision led to Stoke Poges getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Faizal Teo hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Stoke Poges's zone, Erol Hirfet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sean Keng came out of the goal and Erol Hirfet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pülümür JK's Servet Hünerli managed to work through Stoke Poges's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Servet Hünerli dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. With a little luck, Stoke Poges's Sean Keng got control of the ball when Erol Hirfet tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sean Keng stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Servet Hünerli's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. The Pülümür JK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pülümür JK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
