Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Catstown's Barney Doyle started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Şensoy Evvel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bardan McMichel having to interfere. Henry McBrand took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cevher Akyüz. Cevher Akyüz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 10 played minutes Akatlar got a freekick which was hit by Vedat Özboga. Barney Doyle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bardan McMichel made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Hasan Can Özerdinc sent off a good shot on target. In the 21st minute, Hasan Can Özerdinc had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. When Bren Duggan fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Catstown's protests and gave Bren Duggan a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Akatlar booed when Catstown was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bren Duggan didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Şensoy Evvel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cevher Akyüz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Briain Morrison in the 26th minute of the match. Veysel İltemiz hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Briain Morrison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cevher Akyüz having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Catstown's zone, Şensoy Evvel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bardan McMichel came out of the goal and Şensoy Evvel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 47 minutes into the game, Catstown's Fionntán McPhilip nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cevher Akyüz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After the first half Catstown were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kaptan Hiçyılmaz was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute, Henry McBrand made a precise shot to the right of Cevher Akyüz. Akatlar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. A collision led to Catstown getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Leonard McWill hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Catstown's zone, Kaptan Hiçyılmaz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bardan McMichel came out of the goal and Kaptan Hiçyılmaz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Barney Doyle struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Cevher Akyüz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Catstown. After a rather tough play, Akatlar's Mustafa Ali Eralkan got a free kick in the 68th minute. When Cengiz Safvet fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Akatlar's protests and gave Cengiz Safvet a yellow card for diving instead. Cengiz Safvet kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Briain Morrison sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute, Shannon Palmer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Barney Doyle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bardan McMichel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şensoy Evvel in the 87th minute of the match. Cevher Akyüz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henry McBrand in the 97th minute.
