The supporters of Stoke Poges booed when Guerreiros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Cabral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jailson Ramalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniz Ching, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the game, Guerreiros FC's Gugu Sarmento nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sean Keng made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 25th match minute, Stoke Poges was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shukrie Laycock to maneuver through the defense. Moisés Marquez was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 26th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wei Xuan Tuan during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 37th minute of the match Amirul Teo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jailson Ramalho showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 40 played minutes Guerreiros FC got a freekick which was hit by Arthur Pereira. A hard and well directed shot from Amirul Teo led 41 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Guerreiros FC's Jailson Ramalho became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 1-2. Ciro Falcão kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 47th minute of the match Amirul Teo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jailson Ramalho skillfully saved the ball. The Guerreiros FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Stoke Poges were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hamílton Neves made a kick off. Guerreiros FC's Jailson Ramalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alif Lam in the 55th minute of play. Jailson Ramalho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniz Ching in the 56th minute. Jailson Ramalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alif Lam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Alif Lam took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Jailson Ramalho to make any attempt to save it. 73 minutes into the game, Gugu Sarmento was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guerreiros FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stoke Poges the free kick. When Daniz Ching, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 74 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Jailson Ramalho was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After having played for 77 minutes, Daniz Ching managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stoke Poges's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniz Ching was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Faizal Teo fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stoke Poges's protests and gave Faizal Teo a yellow card for diving instead. Faizal Teo hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Hamílton Neves blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sean Keng having to make a save. Daniz Ching blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jailson Ramalho having to make a save. Guerreiros FC's Jailson Ramalho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Guerreiros FC from getting a goal against them. Stoke Poges had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
