Alif Lam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Honorato Peseiro hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. After 15 played minutes On Fire Club got a freekick which was hit by Olavo Horta. In the 16th minute of the match Zak Sum shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luís Espinosa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of On Fire Club booed when Stoke Poges was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wei Xuan Tuan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sean Keng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Pegado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute, Jorge Rebocho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Stoke Poges booed when On Fire Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olavo Horta didn't get a good kick on the ball. 33 minutes into the game, Stoke Poges's Alif Lam nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luís Espinosa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 1-2 became the score in the 36th minute when Daniz Ching elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Wei Xuan Tuan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luís Espinosa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Mariano Pegado made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jorge Rebocho in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sean Keng prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Olavo Horta scored 2-2 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sean Keng, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 61 minutes into the match, Stoke Poges's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Pegado came free, but Sean Keng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniz Ching fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Espinosa having to interfere. Jorge Rebocho might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sean Keng. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jorge Rebocho ran back to his position shaking his head. Joaquim Amaro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 77th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sean Keng. Stoke Poges's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Shukrie Laycock during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Shukrie Laycock kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Stoke Poges's Alif Lam ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luís Espinosa.
