Bardan McMichel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Efe Ergönül in the 4th minute of the match. Henry McBrand scored 1-0 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Can Özol, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Oğuzer Uçarer fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Günyüzü JK's protests and gave Oğuzer Uçarer a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th minute, Oğuzer Uçarer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 14 minutes into the match, Mikail Atılay notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Catstown's Bardan McMichel. Bardan McMichel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 16th minute Mikail Atılay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bardan McMichel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bardan McMichel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mikail Atılay in the 18th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Oğuzer Uçarer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bardan McMichel. Catstown's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oğuzer Uçarer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Catstown's Henry McBrand got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Henry McBrand succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-2 in the 28th playminute. In the 33rd minute Fionntán McPhilip shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Can Özol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Günyüzü JK's Mikail Atılay nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bardan McMichel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Dane Matthews lost his temper 38 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Deniz Atatuğ managed to get in a good position for a shot. Günyüzü JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Deniz Atatuğ was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bardan McMichel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The wind increased when Efe Ergönül made the kick off in the second half. Briain Morrison received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Can Özol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Can Özol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry McBrand in the 54th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Oğuzer Uçarer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henry McBrand hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Bardan McMichel made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Mikail Atılay sent off a good shot on target. Efe Ergönül hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. The supporters of Günyüzü JK booed when Catstown was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bren Duggan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bardan McMichel acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 74th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Deniz Atatuğ. Henry McBrand struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Can Özol didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Catstown. After having played for 91 minutes, Briain Morrison managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Catstown's supporters crossed their fingers, but Briain Morrison was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 92 minutes, Deniz Atatuğ mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Günyüzü JK and the Catstown players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 92nd minute, Deniz Atatuğ hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
