In the 5th minute, Derinkuyu's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Pedro Parente fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 7 minutes into the match, On Fire Club's goal looked a bit too open when Akay Sungur came free, but Luís Espinosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Mariano Pegado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th minute, Hulusi Ragıp made a precise shot to the right of Luís Espinosa. On Fire Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. With an all-out effort, On Fire Club's Olcay Orkun Dündaroğlu threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mariano Pegado, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Luís Espinosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Akay Sungur in the 18th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Augusto Linhares during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 22 played minutes On Fire Club got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Linhares. Jorge Rebocho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olcay Orkun Dündaroğlu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Augusto Linhares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to On Fire Club getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Sálvio Serpa hit a great ball. Hulusi Ragıp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Luís Espinosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Derinkuyu booed when On Fire Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Pádua didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 39 minutes, Hulusi Ragıp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Derinkuyu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hulusi Ragıp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kurtuluş Oğurata in the 40th minute of play forced On Fire Club's goalkeeper Luís Espinosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Duran Uraz charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Duran Uraz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The On Fire Club players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Derinkuyu were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mariano Pegado was the one to do the kick off. Luís Espinosa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Akay Sungur in the 52nd minute. Santiago Póvoas hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Pegado in the 61st minute of play forced Derinkuyu's goalkeeper Olcay Orkun Dündaroğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olcay Orkun Dündaroğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Rebocho, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Olcay Orkun Dündaroğlu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jorge Rebocho went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. When Pedro Parente fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored On Fire Club's protests and gave Pedro Parente a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to On Fire Club getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Pedro Parente hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Rebocho in the 71st minute of play forced Derinkuyu's goalkeeper Olcay Orkun Dündaroğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Jorge Rebocho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Olcay Orkun Dündaroğlu was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. A sloppy throw-in by Boğaçhan Arpacıoğlu in the 89th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by On Fire Club's Olavo Horta. Olavo Horta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olcay Orkun Dündaroğlu having to interfere. If Akay Sungur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Mariano Pegado came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the On Fire Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariano Pegado couldn't finish the play. Joaquim Amaro hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Luís Espinosa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Akay Sungur in the 96th minute. After 96 played minutes On Fire Club got a freekick which was hit by Olavo Horta. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. On Fire Club had won after a very even match.
