When Enginalp İzci came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Yildiz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enginalp İzci couldn't finish the play. Orkun Mahçup showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Servet Hünerli, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 15th minute of the match Müjdat Karlukhan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aybek Şavat showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Aybek Şavat was a little too slow when Arkın Akoğul got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Pülümür JK's zone, Enginalp İzci stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aybek Şavat came out of the goal and Enginalp İzci tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Servet Hünerli blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Orkun Mahçup having to make a save. In the 32nd play minute Enginalp İzci came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Aybek Şavat. 2-0. The Yildiz fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Yildiz's Arkın Akoğul looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 45th minute Alişan Kutsalan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orkun Mahçup saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes into the game, Mücahit Bedi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pülümür JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yildiz the free kick. After 46 played minutes Pülümür JK got a freekick which was hit by Mücahit Bedi. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alişan Kutsalan was the one to do the kick off. Arkın Akoğul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 54th minute, Aşır Hekimbaşı had to leave the field with a concussion. When Servet Hünerli came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Pülümür JK fans jumped to their feet. Orkun Mahçup didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pülümür JK. 88 minutes into the game, Haldun Oğuzbala was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yildiz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pülümür JK the free kick. The supporters of Pülümür JK booed when Yildiz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haldun Oğuzbala didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aybek Şavat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arkın Akoğul, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Yildiz fans cheered their team off the field, for while Pülümür JK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
