With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sarb Teo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mustafa Ali Düden might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sarb Teo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mustafa Ali Düden ran back to his position shaking his head. Kücükköyspor SK's Kubilay Mesut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danish Chong in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mustafa Ali Düden stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Kücükköyspor SK booed when Crewe United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position.
