The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7thth minute of the game Hulusi Ragıp who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ciftehavuzlar SK's Güneş Hızarcı was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ali Faruk Ugraş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Olcay Orkun Dündaroğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ciftehavuzlar SK's Ali Faruk Ugraş got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 12 minutes into the match, Ciftehavuzlar SK's goalkeeper Güneş Hızarcı had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Akay Sungur. If Tuncer Cumhur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Güneş Hızarcı made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Hulusi Ragıp sent off a good shot on target. In the 21st minute, Akay Sungur ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Güneş Hızarcı was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 27thth minute of the game Tuncer Cumhur who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Derinkuyu's Olcay Orkun Dündaroğlu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Ali Faruk Ugraş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute Tuncer Cumhur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olcay Orkun Dündaroğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Derinkuyu's supporters rose to their feet, but Hulusi Ragıp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Güneş Hızarcı breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 56th minute, Seyfullah Akkan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Duran Uraz kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Güneş Hızarcı took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hulusi Ragıp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 66 minutes into the game, Akay Sungur cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Güneş Hızarcı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hulusi Ragıp, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Ahmet Çağrı Akansel kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Derinkuyu's Kayacan Sarıcabay tried to score from far away in the 89th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Güneş Hızarcı took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hulusi Ragıp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Güneş Hızarcı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Akay Sungur, who was totally free with the ball in the 99th minute. Ciftehavuzlar SK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
