Yağızalp Coşan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaptan Hiçyılmaz in the 2nd minute of play. In the 4th minute of the match Akatlar got a corner. ANKA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cengiz Safvet ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Akatlar's Cengiz Safvet to fire away a dangerous shot which Yağızalp Coşan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Veysel İltemiz hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. ANKA's attack was well implemented in the 10th minute, but when Tekin Kırman was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Davut Zabit hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute, Haldun Ozaner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ali Numan Tanak kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Kaptan Hiçyılmaz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Akatlar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 25 minutes into the match, ANKA's goal looked a bit too open when Kaptan Hiçyılmaz came free, but Yağızalp Coşan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute, ANKA's Ali Numan Tanak seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ali Numan Tanak the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of ANKA protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ali Numan Tanak had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 29 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for ANKA! Yağızalp Coşan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaptan Hiçyılmaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yağızalp Coşan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaptan Hiçyılmaz in the 41st minute of the match. Yağızalp Coşan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaptan Hiçyılmaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The ANKA players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Akatlar were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aytunç Usbey was the one to do the kick off. Tekin Kırman hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Kaptan Hiçyılmaz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 58 minutes into the match, ANKA's goalkeeper Yağızalp Coşan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mustafa Ali Eralkan. A collision led to ANKA getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Davut Zabit hit a great ball. Şensoy Evvel charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Şensoy Evvel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 60 played minutes Akatlar got a freekick which was hit by Şensoy Evvel. 62 minutes into the match, Aytunç Usbey had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yağızalp Coşan. ANKA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aytunç Usbey was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 65 minutes into the match, ANKA's goalkeeper Yağızalp Coşan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kaptan Hiçyılmaz. Cevher Akyüz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davut Zabit in the 68th minute of play. Kaptan Hiçyılmaz in the 70thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Yağızalp Coşan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Yağızalp Coşan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aytunç Usbey's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. 81 minutes into the match, ANKA's goal looked a bit too open when Mustafa Ali Eralkan came free, but Yağızalp Coşan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kaptan Hiçyılmazs short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Yağızalp Coşan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice moves Kaptan Hiçyılmaz could shoot a difficult shot in the 86th minute, which Yağızalp Coşan however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, ANKA's Emin Bilgetürk got a free kick in the 89th minute. After having played for 90 minutes, Aytunç Usbey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Akatlar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aytunç Usbey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yağızalp Coşan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kaptan Hiçyılmaz in the 92nd minute. The supporters of Akatlar booed when ANKA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tekin Kırman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th minute, Kaptan Hiçyılmaz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Akatlar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Akatlar eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
