Sarb Teo came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Catstown's Barney Doyle. But to his dismay, Barney Doyle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Bardan McMichel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afiz Ching, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 15th match minute, Crewe United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Leng to maneuver through the defense. Dane Matthews fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sarb Teo having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Barney Doyle put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Sarb Teo. Danish Peng hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Crewe United's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Briain Morrison scored to the left of an out of position Sarb Teo, making the score, 3-0. Briain Morrison struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Sarb Teo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Catstown. In the 37th match minute, Catstown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bren Duggan to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute, Afiz Ching left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Crewe United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Danish Chong to make the kick off. In the 63rd minute, Afiz Ching ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bardan McMichel was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Sarb Teo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barney Doyle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 5-2 became the score in the 71st minute when Briain Morrison elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 77 minutes, Samuel Hui mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Crewe United and the Catstown players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 84th minute, Barney Doyle made a precise shot to the right of Sarb Teo. Crewe United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-2. In the 88thth minute of the game Barney Doyle who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Crewe United's Sarb Teo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Catstown's Shannon Palmer got a free kick in the 89th minute. After having played for 90 minutes, Afiz Ching managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Crewe United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Afiz Ching was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
