Soroca F.C. were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Freestylers's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gustavo Tartalo took the corner. The coaching staff of Soroca F.C. protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gustavo Tartalo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 22 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Soroca F.C.! The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
Freestylers made a substitution. Simon John replaced Szymon Buczak. Dan Wennerqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Musa Bardakçı in the 55th minute of play. Adrián Espadas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Yuan Lei Jing came out and tried to block the shot, but Adrián Espadas slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 61st minute. Freestylers made a substitution. German Evarado replaced Leo Pietro. Soroca F.C.'s Răzvan Necula was substituted for Adrián Espadas. The crowd rose to their feet as Soroca F.C.'s Răzvan Necula slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Yuan Lei Jing. That made the score 0-2 after 66 minutes of play. 69 minutes into the match, Matthias Büssinger notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Soroca F.C.'s Dan Wennerqvist. Dan Wennerqvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Soroca F.C.'s Iordanis Karatzaferis managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Simon John in the 73 minute of the game. Dan Wennerqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from German Evarado in the 75th minute of play. Dan Wennerqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matthias Büssinger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
