Rodo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After some careless play in the Elite Team defense, Gasteiz Latorre kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 武青霖. The Elite Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 武青霖 should have stopped the shot. 武青霖 stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gasteiz Latorre's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Aírton Mesquita charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aírton Mesquita the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Elite Team getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Aírton Mesquita hit a great ball. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after Elite Team's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gasteiz Latorre took the corner. Gasteiz Latorre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 16 minutes into the match, Elite Team's goalkeeper 武青霖 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gasteiz Latorre. In the 22nd match minute, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celso Trasloseros to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Club Dep. Soc. Rodo booed when Elite Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aírton Mesquita didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the game, Cheb Saïd-Guerni cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Jeremy Avellana was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Del Manfredi quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Aírton Mesquita, made in the 30th minute of the game. 武青霖 made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Gasteiz Latorre sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gasteiz Latorre in the 35th minute of play forced Elite Team's goalkeeper 武青霖 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cheb Saïd-Guerni struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Jeremy Avellana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Elite Team. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Jeremy Avellana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Ibar in the 40th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Elite Team's zone, Gasteiz Latorre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 武青霖 came out of the goal and Gasteiz Latorre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Elite Team's Bernabe Cambiasso got a free kick in the 45th minute. In the 46th minute of the match Gasteiz Latorre shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but 武青霖 showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Cao Kuan Wei was substituted for Marco Aguirre. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Anthon Öberg was substituted for Gasteiz Latorre. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Juan Ibar made a kick off. Anthon Öberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 武青霖 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anthon Öberg in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Elite Team's goalkeeper 武青霖, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A throw-in in the 57th minute of the game was made by Laércio Leão with Cheb Saïd-Guerni as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Fermin Duardo charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fermin Duardo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 60th minute of the game. One of Elite Team:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Club Dep. Soc. Rodo:s goal. Elite Team's 武青霖 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro Galarreta in the 68th minute of play. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 5-1 when Teodoro Galarreta sped through Elite Team's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of 武青霖. The audience was convinced that Teodoro Galarreta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 武青霖 was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Cheb Saïd-Guerni could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Jeremy Avellana made a huge save. 武青霖 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celso Trasloseros, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Teodoro Galarreta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 武青霖 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Teodoro Galarreta got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 88th minute Teodoro Galarreta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 武青霖 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Teodoro Galarreta got a free kick in the 98th minute. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
