The corner led Chivos de Punto Fijo's Narciso Gombal to fire away a dangerous shot which Ahmet Necdet Has despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Agah Özver recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 13 minutes into the match, Chivos de Punto Fijo's goal looked a bit too open when Agah Özver came free, but Dani Hernández reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chivos de Punto Fijo's Adalberto Tejeda managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ünal Özaltuğ in the 18 minute of the game. Ahmet Necdet Has showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ryszard Percha, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. The supporters of 《☆GERMEÇSPOR☆》 booed when Chivos de Punto Fijo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Liev Tolstoy didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute Wictor Tinglöv shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dani Hernández saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The wind increased when Agah Özver made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Chivos de Punto Fijo defense, Wictor Tinglöv kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dani Hernández. The Chivos de Punto Fijo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dani Hernández should have stopped the shot. Chivos de Punto Fijo's Dani Hernández played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wictor Tinglöv in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th match minute, 《☆GERMEÇSPOR☆》 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tibet Ekincioğlu to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute Juan Torrent shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Necdet Has saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ahmet Necdet Has stood somewhat misplaced when Juan Torrent came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 62 minute. If Juan Torrent had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 《☆GERMEÇSPOR☆》's Arif Memduh Özkutay was substituted for Tibet Ekincioğlu. Anders Ståhlman hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Chivos de Punto Fijo's Dani Hernández played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agah Özver in the 74th minute of play. After 76 minutes of play, 《☆GERMEÇSPOR☆》's Agah Özver made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juan Torrent in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ahmet Necdet Has saved 《☆GERMEÇSPOR☆》 from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Torrent in the 91st minute of play forced 《☆GERMEÇSPOR☆》's goalkeeper Ahmet Necdet Has to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan Torrent could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Ahmet Necdet Has made a huge save. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
