Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Icardi came free, but Miguel Ángel Santoro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miguel Ángel Santoro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Icardi, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Fisnik Fart showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrad Carrington in the 15th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, Mauro Icardi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Miguel Ángel Santoro. C. A. Independiente's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mauro Icardi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind C. A. Independiente's goalkeeper Miguel Ángel Santoro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 27 minutes into the match, C. A. Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Gökalp Ateşoğlu came free, but Miguel Ángel Santoro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to TC☆ Keskin Nişancı™ getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Arif Buğra Tülek hit a great ball. 29 minutes into the game, Saul Bryson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C. A. Independiente's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TC☆ Keskin Nişancı™ the free kick. In the 29th minute, Saul Bryson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When TC☆ Keskin Nişancı™'s Mauro Icardi in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C. A. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mauro Icardi couldn't finish the play. Mauro Icardi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Ángel Santoro having to interfere. Fisnik Fart made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roy Huston in the 36th minute. Saul Bryson hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. C. A. Independiente's Conrad Carrington shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 41st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Fisnik Fart but with some difficulty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Icardi in the 47th minute of play forced C. A. Independiente's goalkeeper Miguel Ángel Santoro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Conrad Carrington made the kick off in the second half. Fisnik Fart showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrad Carrington in the 51st minute of the match. In the 71st minute Roy Huston shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fisnik Fart saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mauro Icardi got free with Miguel Ángel Santoro in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mauro Icardi in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miguel Ángel Santoro saved C. A. Independiente from getting behind. Saul Bryson was shown his second yellow card after 86 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to C. A.
