An unexpectedly hard shot by Çağan Mürsel in the 6th minute of play forced Saint Côme de Fresné's goalkeeper Noël Péret to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Saint Côme de Fresné's goal looked a bit too open when Çeliker Vecih came free, but Noël Péret reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Saint Côme de Fresné's Patrice Sénéchal got a free kick in the 12th minute. After 14 minutes, Karl Touzard mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saint Côme de Fresné and the Karaelmas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Noël Péret made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Çağan Mürsel in the 19th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Çeliker Vecih during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hakan Ilıca made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Joaquim Gibert sent off a good shot on target. After 23 played minutes Saint Côme de Fresné got a freekick which was hit by Jérémy Le Boucher. Ahmet Rıfat Özonder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Simon Mertz during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Simon Mertz kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Saint Côme de Fresné's goal looked a bit too open when Çağan Mürsel came free, but Noël Péret reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Noël Péret came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Karaelmas's Çağan Mürsel. But to his dismay, Çağan Mürsel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Jérémy Le Boucher's late challenge caught a Karaelmas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jérémy Le Boucher helped the player get up and apologised. Jérémy Le Boucher hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Noël Péret took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Semi Türkoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Saint Côme de Fresné's Noël Péret played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehmet Emre Orkutay in the 42nd minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Patrice Sénéchal to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Semi Türkoğlu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Noël Péret. That made the score 0-2 in the 51 minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 56th minute by Çağan Mürsel got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Joaquim Gibert charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joaquim Gibert the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Joaquim Gibert hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Karaelmas's Ulu Afacan got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 65th minute, Karaelmas's Bulut Ushan seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Bulut Ushan the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Karaelmas protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Bulut Ushan had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Karaelmas fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 65th minute. Penalty! Karaelmas:s Hakan Ilıca showed great skill when he stopped Ruben Bénier:s penalty. Patrice Sénéchal might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hakan Ilıca. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patrice Sénéchal ran back to his position shaking his head. Hakan Ilıca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrice Sénéchal in the 73rd minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Çeliker Vecih dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Noël Péret, 0-3. Çeliker Vecih fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noël Péret having to interfere. If Çağan Mürsel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Çağan Mürsel succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 88th playminute. After a defensive mix-up in Saint Côme de Fresné's zone, Çağan Mürsel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Noël Péret came out of the goal and Çağan Mürsel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Patrice Sénéchal in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hakan Ilıca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Karaelmas's Çağan Mürsel got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
