A collision led to River getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Victor Iraido hit a great ball. If Joachim Kielstedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 27 played minutes River got a freekick which was hit by Severo Gabino. Bo-Erik Sjöö made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Severo Gabino sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Haymakers FC's Patrik Sjöberg got a free kick in the 29th minute. The supporters of River booed when Haymakers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenneth Forssell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victor Iraido hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Haymakers FC's Bo-Erik Sjöö got control of the ball when Filomeno Distiratsu tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Victor Iraido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Severo Gabino fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 43rd minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

51 minutes into the match, Victor Iraido notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Haymakers FC's Bo-Erik Sjöö. Bo-Erik Sjöö was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 54th minute, Victor Iraido made a precise shot to the right of Bo-Erik Sjöö. Haymakers FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 59th match minute, River was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Henrico to maneuver through the defense. 60 minutes into the match, River's goalkeeper Saverio Mino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joachim Kielstedt. Bo-Erik Sjöö didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for River. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severo Gabino in the 74th minute of play forced Haymakers FC's goalkeeper Bo-Erik Sjöö to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victor Iraido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Bo-Erik Sjöö tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th match minute, River was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Iraido to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 83 minutes, Victor Iraido managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. River's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victor Iraido was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Haymakers FC's Bo-Erik Sjöö played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severo Gabino in the 86th minute of play. Victor Iraido fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bo-Erik Sjöö having to interfere. After 89 minutes, Kenneth Forssell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Haymakers FC and the River players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 89th minute, Kenneth Forssell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, River's Saverio Mino got control of the ball when Lukas Apelkvist tried to sneak it across the goal line.
