Dacian Săraru was slow to take the kick. During this time Club 23's players had a chance to rest. After a rather tough play, AIF's Wilhelm Alströmer got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 16th minute, Sune Bålström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marek Szostak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bogdan Bogdanović in the 20th minute. Leonard Chodzinski charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonard Chodzinski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 22 played minutes, AIF's Gunnar Klemensson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sören Malmberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AIF reached it. In the 28th minute, Liu Chao Xiao left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club 23 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 36thth minute of the game Liu Chao Xiao who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AIF's Marek Szostak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sune Bålström during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 37th match minute, AIF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sune Bålström to maneuver through the defense. 40 minutes into the match, AIF's goal looked a bit too open when Liu Chao Xiao came free, but Marek Szostak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 46 minutes, Liu Chao Xiao managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club 23's supporters crossed their fingers, but Liu Chao Xiao was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Liu Chao Xiao came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Club 23 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Liu Chao Xiao couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kent Smefeldt was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Carl Kilman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bogdan Bogdanović recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Club 23's Liu Chao Xiao in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AIF's goalie prevented a goal. In the 69thth minute of the game Liu Chao Xiao who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AIF's Marek Szostak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Club 23's Liu Chao Xiao sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marek Szostak narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 75th minute Liu Chao Xiao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marek Szostak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liu Chao Xiao in the 85th minute of play forced AIF's goalkeeper Marek Szostak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute, Emil Cioran made a precise shot to the right of Marek Szostak. AIF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 89th minute Liu Chao Xiao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marek Szostak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 90 minutes of play AIF's Sune Bålström was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Sune Bålström hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Marek Szostak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Liu Chao Xiao, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. 97 minutes into the match, AIF's goal looked a bit too open when Liu Chao Xiao came free, but Marek Szostak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AIF's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
