Fanis Bakosis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Semi Türkoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Çeliker Vecih recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 12th minute, Fausto Egoitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fanis Bakosis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Çağan Mürsel in the 16th minute of play. Hakan Ilıca made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Ruben Lorien sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Karaelmas booed when Tiburones Rojos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruben Lorien didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Tiburones Rojos's goal looked a bit too open when Çağan Mürsel came free, but Fanis Bakosis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute, Tolga Saygur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ruben Lorien in the 35thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hakan Ilıca, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, Tiburones Rojos's Fausto Egoitz got a free kick in the 36th minute. If Çeliker Vecih had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hakan Ilıca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Albano Luke in the 43rd minute. In the 45th minute Semi Türkoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fanis Bakosis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Mehmet Emre Orkutay charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mehmet Emre Orkutay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Albano Luke recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ruben Lorien sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albano Luke took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hakan Ilıca. Hakan Ilıca dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Hakan Ilıca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruben Lorien, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After 66 minutes of play, Tiburones Rojos's Ruben Lorien made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hakan Ilıca was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fanis Bakosis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Semi Türkoğlu in the 71st minute of the match. Hakan Ilıca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruben Lorien, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After some careless play in the Karaelmas defense, Ruben Lorien kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hakan Ilıca. The Karaelmas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hakan Ilıca should have stopped the shot. After 77 played minutes Tiburones Rojos got a freekick which was hit by Sixto Tristan. Fanis Bakosis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Semi Türkoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Karaelmas's Hakan Ilıca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albano Luke in the 88th minute of play. Mehmet Emre Orkutay was shown his second yellow card after 89 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 90th minute, Mehmet Emre Orkutay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tiburones Rojos's Teodosio Lain was substituted for Teofilo Venceslao. After a rather tough play, Karaelmas's Mehmet Emre Orkutay got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 93rd minute of the match Albano Luke shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hakan Ilıca showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tiburones Rojos were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Karaelmas for a fine match.
