Tibau De Jaeger's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dino Di Luca firmly grabbed it by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tibau De Jaeger got free with Dino Di Luca in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Foot Ball Club di Roma's Biagio Pallini got a free kick in the 10th minute. Jimmie Cai hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Dino Di Luca made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Tibau De Jaeger sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Marsili in the 33rd minute of play forced MK Investments's goalkeeper Peter Oldenborger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Christian Marsili had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Peter Oldenborger. MK Investments's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christian Marsili was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 36 minutes into the match, Foot Ball Club di Roma's goal looked a bit too open when Pascal Bults came free, but Dino Di Luca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dino Di Luca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waclaw Poremba in the 37th minute of play. With a little luck, Foot Ball Club di Roma's Dino Di Luca got control of the ball when Waclaw Poremba tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dino Di Luca made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Waclaw Poremba sent off a good shot on target. Dino Di Luca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domenik Hoffhuis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waclaw Poremba in the 47th minute of play forced Foot Ball Club di Roma's goalkeeper Dino Di Luca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

52 minutes into the game, Jim Rensenbrink was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MK Investments's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Foot Ball Club di Roma the free kick. Biagio Pallini came free with the goalkeeper in the 53rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Peter Oldenborger could save by the left post. If Tibau De Jaeger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dino Di Luca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waclaw Poremba in the 59th minute of play. In the 60th minute MK Investments were awarded a corner. Waclaw Poremba went to the cornerflag to take it. MK Investments's Waclaw Poremba was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dino Di Luca in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Foot Ball Club di Roma's Dino Di Luca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tibau De Jaeger in the 61st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waclaw Poremba in the 62nd minute of play forced Foot Ball Club di Roma's goalkeeper Dino Di Luca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the game, Waclaw Poremba cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Dino Di Luca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dino Di Luca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domenik Hoffhuis in the 68th minute of the match. Dino Di Luca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tibau De Jaeger, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tibau De Jaeger in the 74th minute of play forced Foot Ball Club di Roma's goalkeeper Dino Di Luca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dino Di Luca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimmie Cai in the 75th minute of the match. The supporters of Foot Ball Club di Roma booed when MK Investments was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferdinant Davids didn't get a good kick on the ball. Biagio Pallini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 79th minute Domenik Hoffhuis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dino Di Luca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Waclaw Poremba scored 3-1 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dino Di Luca, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Foot Ball Club di Roma's Dino Di Luca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waclaw Poremba in the 84th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Tibau De Jaeger ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dino Di Luca was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. After a rather tough play, Foot Ball Club di Roma's Alberigo Villa got a free kick in the 94th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Foot Ball Club di Roma players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for MK Investments.
