With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erwin Jury in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ragnar Wallander saved AIF from getting behind. In the 8thth minute of the game Erwin Jury who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AIF's Ragnar Wallander was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ragnar Wallander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erwin Jury, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Erwin Jury came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Saint Côme de Fresné fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erwin Jury couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erwin Jury in the 27th minute of play forced AIF's goalkeeper Ragnar Wallander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Saint Côme de Fresné's Erwin Jury got a free kick in the 34th minute. 36 minutes into the match, Saint Côme de Fresné's goal looked a bit too open when Sune Bålström came free, but Gameiro Lenoble reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cyril Jardin charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cyril Jardin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 38 played minutes Saint Côme de Fresné got a freekick which was hit by Cyril Jardin. The supporters of Saint Côme de Fresné booed when AIF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sune Bålström didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, AIF's Ragnar Wallander got control of the ball when Davy Poirrier tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erwin Jury was the one to do the kick off. Ragnar Wallander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erwin Jury in the 58th minute of play. Ragnar Wallander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erwin Jury in the 58th minute of the match. Davy Poirrier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. AIF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Steve Carrier ran over to the corner to take the kick. Steve Carrier made a great header on Saint Côme de Fresné's corner, it was just that AIF's Ragnar Wallander managed to reach the ball for a save. Saint Côme de Fresné's Gameiro Lenoble proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Saint Côme de Fresné from getting a goal against them. In the 74th match minute, Saint Côme de Fresné was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yannick Bach to maneuver through the defense. If Sune Bålström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ragnar Wallander came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Saint Côme de Fresné's Erwin Jury. But to his dismay, Erwin Jury quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After 94 minutes, Luc Boulogne mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saint Côme de Fresné and the AIF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 97 played minutes AIF got a freekick which was hit by Klas Njurenius. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Saint Côme de Fresné had won after a very even match.
