The coaching staff of River protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Silvestre Laurgain had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Saverio Mino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustav Alstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adam Ahlberg's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 8thth minute, Saverio Mino skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Arman Lundström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorio Otsoa in the 9th minute of the match. Severo Gabino kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Adam Ahlberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Saverio Mino. River's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adam Ahlberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The supporters of StraX Xenon FC booed when River was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severo Gabino didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 19 played minutes StraX Xenon FC got a freekick which was hit by Joar Myr. Victorio Otsoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arman Lundström having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Adam Ahlberg reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Saverio Mino. The goal made the score 2-0. Severo Gabino hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 34 minutes into the game, Severo Gabino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. River's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave StraX Xenon FC the free kick. In the 35th minute, Severo Gabino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute of the match Adam Ahlberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Saverio Mino skillfully saved the ball. After 36 played minutes River got a freekick which was hit by Damian Gau. The crowd rose to their feet as StraX Xenon FC's Gustav Alstedt slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Saverio Mino. That made the score 4-0 after 40 minutes of play. After 42 played minutes StraX Xenon FC got a freekick which was hit by Håkan Berg. Adam Ahlberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Saverio Mino made a huge save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gustav Alstedt to make the kick off. In the 58th minute Adam Ahlberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saverio Mino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 59 minutes, Anders Sjöberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the StraX Xenon FC and the River players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 59 played minutes StraX Xenon FC got a freekick which was hit by Anders Sjöberg. If Victorio Otsoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind River's goalkeeper Saverio Mino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 74th minute StraX Xenon FC were awarded a corner. Adam Ahlberg went to the cornerflag to take it. Adam Ahlberg made a great header on StraX Xenon FC's corner, it was just that River's Saverio Mino managed to reach the ball for a save. Herman Ahlström kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Severo Gabino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arman Lundström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Adam Ahlberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Saverio Mino. River's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adam Ahlberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victor Iraido during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, River's Victor Iraido got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 91st minute of the match Ingvar Gadd shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Saverio Mino showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. River's Severo Gabino got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. River's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
