Sören Malmberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Liviu Buceceanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bogdan Bogdanović's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emanuel Enoiu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. The throw-in from Emanuel Robescu in the 21st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Armada's Elder Godoi. Cristian Anastasiu kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Armada's Emanuel Enoiu got control of the ball when Volodya Kirov tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kylian Henry's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sören Malmberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Kylian Henry scored 1-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sören Malmberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Club 23's goalkeeper Sören Malmberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Club 23's Sören Malmberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kylian Henry in the 33rd minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kylian Henry to make the kick off. The corner ended in Vali Caramarin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Club 23's Sören Malmberg did a great save. Liu Chao Xiao might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emanuel Enoiu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Liu Chao Xiao ran back to his position shaking his head. Emanuel Enoiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liu Chao Xiao in the 83rd minute of play. Liviu Buceceanu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sören Malmberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Liviu Buceceanu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 84th minute. Sören Malmberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aras Başbuğ in the 88th minute of the match. If Kylian Henry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Armada supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Armada would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
