River's Ambrosio Mitxaut was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gameiro Lenoble in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Davy Poirrier put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Saverio Mino. Bryan Le Thiec kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 68th match minute, River was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Modesto Intxixu to maneuver through the defense. Steve Carrier took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Saverio Mino. River's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Victorio Otsoa hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Davy Poirrier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. River were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
