Victor Iraido recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 6th match minute, KoLiber was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artur Dziedelonis to maneuver through the defense. Victor Iraido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adolfo Obeko kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Victorio Otsoa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mrongowiusz Mściwój read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. River's defense didn't have a chance, in the 14th minute, when Jerzy Cuber scored to the left of an out of position Saverio Mino, making the score, 1-0. Jerzy Cuber blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Saverio Mino having to make a save. After 17 minutes, Benedykt Trzemzalski made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. River's Saverio Mino tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Tomasz Awizo kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Victor Iraido managed to get in a good position for a shot. River's supporters rose to their feet, but Victor Iraido was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mrongowiusz Mściwój breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mrongowiusz Mściwój showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Iraido, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. A collision led to River getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Silvestre Laurgain hit a great ball. The supporters of KoLiber booed when River was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filomeno Distiratsu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, River's Victorio Otsoa got a free kick in the 37th minute. If Jerzy Cuber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Victor Iraido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Mrongowiusz Mściwój tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Victor Iraido to make the kick off. When Damian Gau fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored River's protests and gave Damian Gau a yellow card for diving instead. In the 53rd minute, Damian Gau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 70 minutes into the game, Benedykt Trzemzalski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Saverio Mino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bogdan Lichniak kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Adolfo Obeko hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Saverio Mino came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by KoLiber's Jerzy Cuber. But to his dismay, Jerzy Cuber quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Victor Iraido's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mrongowiusz Mściwój read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. KoLiber had played much better football throughout.
