Battal Cüneyt Kanver stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hakkı Kenan Özsu's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. If İsmail Uçarer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mansur Mazhar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Güntekin Uluçkan managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Basmakci FK's Beşir Nazir fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Basmakci FK getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Esat Tokuzer hit a great ball. Battal Cüneyt Kanver showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hakkı Kenan Özsu, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. İsmail Uçarer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Beşir Nazir might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Güntekin Uluçkan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Beşir Nazir ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by İsmail Uçarer during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 38 played minutes Ofspor got a freekick which was hit by İsmail Uçarer. Mansur Mazhar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 45 minutes into the match, Basmakci FK's goal looked a bit too open when İsmail Uçarer came free, but Battal Cüneyt Kanver reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The wind increased when Mansur Mazhar made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mansur Mazhar in the 52nd minute of play forced Ofspor's goalkeeper Güntekin Uluçkan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Güntekin Uluçkan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Beşir Nazir went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. If Mansur Mazhar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. İsmail Uçarer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Battal Cüneyt Kanver having to interfere. In the 67th minute, one of Ofspor:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ofspor. Battal Cüneyt Kanver took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İsmail Uçarer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th match minute, Basmakci FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ilgaz Demirci to maneuver through the defense. Ofspor's Güntekin Uluçkan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mansur Mazhar in the 83rd minute of play. Battal Cüneyt Kanver didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hakkı Kenan Özsu went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. 89 minutes into the match, Beşir Nazir notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Ofspor's Güntekin Uluçkan. Güntekin Uluçkan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ofspor's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
