The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Isidro Modestio to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Academia FC's zone, Saul Macerio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walery Balkiewicz came out of the goal and Saul Macerio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nina fc's Beppe Mercuri was substituted for Stelian Nandriș. Nina fc's Rubens Prata was substituted for Saul Macerio. After 62 played minutes Academia FC got a freekick which was hit by Simon Esquipula. 64 minutes into the game, Rubens Prata cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Francisco Ascencio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rubens Prata scored 3-0 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Walery Balkiewicz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
