Willian Cuesta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nery Pumpido made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roman Garci in the 13th minute. Willian Cuesta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Edvin Jansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind GuateFortín's goalkeeper Nery Pumpido, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 26 played minutes ARES FC DeusDeFutbol got a freekick which was hit by Börge Alkvist. 27 minutes into the match, Zico Zellier had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Willian Cuesta. ARES FC DeusDeFutbol's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zico Zellier was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Willian Cuesta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Edvin Jansson in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute Recai Nusrettin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nery Pumpido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ARES FC DeusDeFutbol's Roman Garci got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nery Pumpido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Garci, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. The audience was convinced that Sven-Edvin Jansson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Willian Cuesta was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Willian Cuesta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zico Zellier's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Nery Pumpido made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roman Garci in the 42nd minute. 47 minutes into the match, ARES FC DeusDeFutbol's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Edvin Jansson came free, but Willian Cuesta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

ARES FC DeusDeFutbol made a substitution. Reinhard Apotheker replaced Co Rona. 57 minutes into the match, Roman Garci notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of GuateFortín's Nery Pumpido. Nery Pumpido was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roman Garci in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nery Pumpido saved GuateFortín from getting behind. GuateFortín made a substitution. Ivan Lozano replaced Roberto Trotta. ARES FC DeusDeFutbol made a substitution. Felipe Muñoz replaced Roman Garci. In a very dangerous position, a player in GuateFortín fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 65th minute. Penalty! Nery Pumpido didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Recai Nusrettin went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. In the 71st minute, Otsando Fierro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 79 minutes into the match, GuateFortín's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Muñoz came free, but Nery Pumpido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, ARES FC DeusDeFutbol's goal looked a bit too open when Thierry Henry came free, but Willian Cuesta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, ARES FC DeusDeFutbol's Willian Cuesta got control of the ball when William Villanueva tried to sneak it across the goal line.
