Günther Doty might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fernando Selatse. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Günther Doty ran back to his position shaking his head. The corner led Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Luan Pombo to fire away a dangerous shot which Fernando Selatse despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luan Pombo in the 36th minute. Fernando Selatse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luan Pombo in the 38th minute of the match. Feliksas Fenichev kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Despidida AFC had won after a very even match.
