In the 34th minute of the match Parque Europa FC got a corner. Despidida AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Froilan Reyes ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 41 played minutes Despidida AFC got a freekick which was hit by Oliver Rizzo. Parque Europa FC's attentive Ronaldo Fenomeno managed to snatch the ball when Michael Corleone made a throw-in in the 43rd minute of the game. When Alvaro Raymond fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Despidida AFC's protests and gave Alvaro Raymond a yellow card for diving instead. Alvaro Raymond hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alvaro Raymond stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fernando Selatse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Froilan Reyes in the 53rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Froilan Reyes put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Fernando Selatse. Parque Europa FC made a substitution. Rogelio Mendiola replaced Atahan Balyemez. Parque Europa FC's Lionel-Andrés Messi was substituted for Saul Gomesano. Despidida AFC's Dinu Ivănescu was substituted for Ancho Branca. Fernando Selatse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Coronel Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luis Täger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Velasco in the 63rd minute of play. In the 66th minute, Parque Europa FC's Lionel-Andrés Messi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. After having played for 84 minutes, Lionel-Andrés Messi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Parque Europa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lionel-Andrés Messi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fernando Selatse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lionel-Andrés Messi in the 89th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Parque Europa FC's zone, Pastor Tino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luis Täger came out of the goal and Pastor Tino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dinu Ivănescu in the 91st minute of play forced Parque Europa FC's goalkeeper Luis Täger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luis Täger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pastor Tino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Parque Europa FC's Luis Täger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dinu Ivănescu in the 94th minute of play. Lionel-Andrés Messi had several of the Despidida AFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 95 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-3 score and a disappointed Fernando Selatse as he didn't even see the shot coming.
